Benefits of exercising
We all know that exercising is good for the health; it helps us to live with a better quality of life because it produces several improvements, physical, and psychological, nevertheless, we not always make time for doing it. That is the reason why I will list some benefits that exercising brings so you don’t search for excuses and encourages you to start:
- It improves the lipids profile; this is the fat that we have in our arteries as total cholesterol, triglycerides, good cholesterol (HDL) and bad cholesterol (LDL). Cholesterol and triglycerides are reduced, while good cholesterol (HDL) increases; this reduces the risk of having cardiovascular diseases.
- It fights the obesity, along with a balanced diet.
- In a diabetic patient, it reduces and controls his blood glucose levels.
- It reduces the risk of having osteoporosis.
- It has a delaying effect over the risk factors in chronic diseases, such as aging.
- It keeps muscles and articulations in a good shape.
- It fights insomnia.
- It improves personal image
- It frees from tension and stress.
- It improves the motor coordination and reflexes.
- It increases the respiratory capacity of the lungs.
- It prevents and/or delays the development of arterial hypertension, and it reduces the values of arterial tension in hypertensive patients.
- It improves digestion and the regularity of intestinal rhythm.
- It promotes growth in children and teenagers
These benefits are essential for good health, and we all should incorporate an exercise routine in our daily lives. Nobody is too young or too old not to exercise, whether we do it at home, at the job or at the street, what is important is the perseverance. With only 30 minutes a day is enough.
So, what are you waiting for? Today is a good day to start. |
